Frequently asked questions

We’ve put together the most common questions we get from our customers to make things easier for you.

Getting Started

What is Pixelco and how does it work?

Pixelco is a consent-based lead capture network. When a visitor consents and shares their email on any partner site in our network, we securely link that email to a unique identifier. That identifier can then be recognized on other partner sites they visit. If they land on your site, Pixelco instantly matches the visitor and sends you their email in real time – no extra forms, fields, or friction required. You just install a small pixel on your site and let the network work for you in the background.

Installation & Setup

How do I install the pixel on my website?

Installing the pixel is quick and doesn’t require technical expertise. You simply add a small JavaScript snippet to your site’s header or install it through Google Tag Manager. We provide a step-by-step installation guide for every compatible platform, along with ready-made, GDPR-compliant privacy policy text that you add to your own privacy policy so visitors clearly understand how the pixel works.

Email Collection & Lead Tracking

Can I see how many times a lead has visited my website?

Yes. Each lead profile shows the total number of recorded visits. Pixelco also has built-in sorting and filtering tools in the dashboard to make it easy to organize your leads and quickly spot the visitors who are most engaged.

Privacy & Compliance

How is my website visitors’ privacy protected?

Pixelco protects visitor privacy with a consent-first approach and strict technical safeguards. No tracking or email matching takes place until a visitor has clearly agreed via the consent banner. We only collect the data needed to deliver the service – primarily email and technical identifiers used for matching – and we never sell data or share it with unrelated third parties.

All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is restricted to authorized systems and personnel, and activity is monitored for security purposes. Visitors can refuse tracking or withdraw consent at any time, and we provide ready-made wording to your own privacy policy so it’s clear to users how Pixelco operates on your site.
